cineAWESOME! is happy to be working with SVA Filmmakers Dialogue to present an opportunity to watch A.C.O.D., the new comedy by director Stuart Zicherman starring Adam Scott.

SVA Filmmakers Dialogue has provided us with a limited number of tickets to their screening of A.C.O.D. on Wednesday, October, 2nd, 6:15 PM, at the SVA Theatre, 333 West 23rd Street. After the screening, there will be a discussion with director and co-writer Stuart Zicherman, who will give a blow-by-blow account on how he got his first film made, what it’s like to collaborate with JJ Abrams (on Six Degrees), and how to get your film accepted into Sundance.

A.C.O.D. follows Carter (Adam Scott), a seemingly well-adjusted Adult Child of Divorce. Having survived the zaniness of his parents’ divorce as a child, he now has a successful career and supportive girlfriend (Mary Elizabeth Winstead). But when his younger brother (Clark Duke) gets engaged, it’s up to Carter to reunite his bitterly divorced parents (Richard Jenkins & Catherine O’Hara) for the wedding. When Carter seeks counsel from his childhood shrink (Jane Lynch), he discovers that he was part of a divorce study and the chaos of his childhood returns.

A.C.O.D. premiered at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival. The film marks the directorial debut of co-writer Stuart Zicherman (writer for FX’s The Americans).

The first 80 people to RSVP to news@subwaycinema.com will be put on the list. Winners will be notified by email with instructions on how to get tickets. Please put your name and if you have a plus one please include their name as well.
